Description

Examine and critically apply rapid assessment frameworks to detect and analyse patient deterioration when caring for children at risk of an acute illness.

Utilise a problem-solving and family/whānau focussed approach to examine the relevant assessment data required for specific episodes of acute health alteration.

Critically analyse assessment findings, for an unwell child, to prioritise nursing interventions and timely referrals to other health professionals.
