Campus Tours

A campus tour is a great way to see Ara in action and get a feel for what it’s like to study here.

What to expect

• Before the tour starts, we’ll provide an overview of qualifications, courses and student support services at Ara
• On the tour you’ll visit subject-specific spaces and facilities such as the library, gym, health centre and student accommodation
• Your guide will provide information throughout the tour, and you can ask any questions you have

Tours of the City campus take around an hour. Tours of the Woolston campus take between 30 and 40 minutes.

Group tours

Group campus tours alternate between our City campus and Woolston campus. Dates and registrations can be made here.

Woolston campus (all trades courses take place at this location)

City campus (all courses excluding trades, nursing, medical imaging, and midwifery take place at this location)

Manawa campus (nursing, medical imaging and midwifery take place at this location)

Because of the busy nature of a shared floor across organisations, we have organised dates for Manawa Campus Tours. We are unable to provide private tours of this facility outside of these times. Click here to find times and dates available.

We hold regular application evenings to help you understand the application process and support you to complete and submit your application. If you’re nearly ready to apply, we encourage you to come along to one of these events.

Private tours

If you have a specific tour requirement, you can request a private tour. Please note, a minimum of five working days’ notice is required.
